For the past 28 years, he’s served as a fire district Commissioner, having also held the positions of Fire Police Lieutenant, 2nd Lieutenant, Department Recording Secretary, Department Vice President, and Department President. He’s also served with the Medford Volunteer Ambulance for the last 39 years.Joe was a Public Safety Communication Supervisor in the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, where he managed the day-to-day operations of the dispatchers as well as supervised radio communications and other vital functions for 27 years

Josh Jensen was elected to the New York State Assembly on November 3, 2020. His district includes a portion of Monroe County, specifically the towns of Greece, Ogden, and Parma and the villages of Hilton and Spencerport. He currently serves as the vice-chair of the Minority Joint Conference Committee and as the ranking Minority member of the Assembly Committee on Health, as well as a member of the committees on Children & Families; Corporations, Authorities & Commissions; Insurance; and Rules.
Judy Griffin

Judy Griffin was elected to serve the 21st Assembly District on November 5, 2024. Judy previously served in the NYS Assembly for two terms from 2019-2022. She was the first woman elected to represent the district, and the first majority member elected to represent AD21 since 1974. Her victory in 2018 was her first run for public office.As an Assemblywoman, Judy was a strong suburban voice committed to public safety, public education, protecting the environment and a champion of labor unions, law enforcement, and a woman’s right to choose.

Karines Reyes has been a Bronxite for nearly 20 years. Born in the neighborhood of Los Minas, Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic, she identifies as an Afro-Latina. She is a registered nurse in the Oncology Department at Montefiore Einstein Hospital. Karines has two young sons and has been balancing the tasks of being a nurse, union representative, activist and volunteer without neglecting the duties of her most important job – being a mother.

Assembly Member Khaleel Anderson was elected to serve Assembly District 31 in Queens for his first term in November 2020. Anderson represents parts of Arverne, Brookville, Far Rockaway, Hammels, Rosedale, South Ozone Park, South Richmond Hill, Springfield Gardens and John F. Kennedy International Airport. Anderson began his young career as a community organizer at the age of 13 and has since been dedicated to leadership, service and advocacy. In 2011, he was an organizer for a local non-profit that trains cohorts of youth in civic engagement. Anderson was the youngest member of Queens Community Board 14 and his local Police Precinct Council during his tenure. Anderson's hard work, leadership and dedication to his community have earned him recognition from local and state elected officials. Assembly Member Anderson is a leading voice in addressing issues of food insecurity, disaster preparedness, housing, transportation and healthcare planning in Assembly District 31.

Kwani O'Pharrow has an impressive and long-standing record in public service protecting our nation and the great state of New York. He served in the Navy from 1990-1994 as Radioman Petty Officer 3rd Class (RM3)-Intel and retired from the New York City Police Department (NYPD) as a Detective after 25 years of service. His extensive NYPD career brings a wealth of valuable experience, which included: school officer, community patrol officer, domestic violence officer, gang investigations, holding various plainclothes details and assignment to the Chief of Departments office. Notably, Kwani’s final assignment was in the Intelligence Bureau, where he had the privilege of protecting dignitaries such as Presidents Obama and Trump.

Her 2018 campaign for the Assembly was her first attempt at elected office. Marianne is married to Don Buttenschon, a retired public-school psychologist. They have three grown children and six grandchildren.For over 30 years, Don and Marianne have operated the Buttenschon Christmas Tree Farm in the Town of Marcy in Oneida County. Marianne is a career-long educator and a lifelong learner. She earned an AAS from Mohawk Valley Community College, a BA in Public Justice from SUNY (IT) Polytechnic Institute, an MA in Public Policy from Binghamton University and a Doctorate of Education from Northeastern.
