Description

The New York State Assembly Health Committee is responsible for the development, oversight, and advancement of legislation affecting public health and healthcare systems across the state. Its focus includes access to medical care, hospital and clinic management, insurance regulation, Medicaid, infectious disease control, reproductive health, and the operation and funding of health care institutions. The committee works to improve the well-being of all New Yorkers and plays a central role in shaping statewide healthcare policy and delivery.
