Senate
The Housing, Construction and Community Development Committee advances policy on affordable housing, rent regulation, construction standards, landlord-tenant issues, homelessness, and neighborhood revitalization. The committee’s primary goal is to ensure access to safe, stable housing and modernize communities statewide.
The committee oversees Housing Law, Public Housing Law, Private Housing Finance Law, Real Property Law (landlord-tenant), Multiple Dwelling Law, and relevant portions of General Municipal and Unconsolidated Laws.
